Prominent Ear Surgery (Otoplasty)
This operation is for people who dislike their prominent ears (also known as protruding ears). This can be performed as a day case under sedation, or general anaesthetic.
What's Involved
The ears are restored to a normal appearance via an incision behind the ear, which is not visible. A head bandage is worn for 2 weeks which maintains the new shape of the ears. A sweat-band or something similar is then worn at night for 6 weeks.

Enquire about procedureFacial Fractures
Facial bones are often broken (fractured) following significant impact such as motor vehicle accidents, assaults or simply following a fall. Sometimes facial bone fractures need to be fixed with metalwork. Common operations include repair of orbital floor blow out fractures (floor of the eye socket), zygoma fractures (cheekbone), or mandible fractures (jaw).
What's Involved
These procedures are performed in hospital with an overnight stay. Recovery is usually 2 weeks, with the exception of jaw fractures which require a slow recovery involving a soft (liquefied) diet for 4 weeks.
